This position is based at our R&D Centre at Navi Mumbai and will report to the Head of IP.

The remuneration package will be commensurate with the incumbents professional experience and will be in line with market standards.

Essential skills and experience:

• Patent Searching for formulation development projects: Candidate should be familiar with various keyword, IPC class based searching Drug substances and Drug Products
• Patentability Assessment: To evaluate the patentability of R&D projects
• Patent Landscape Report and Freedom to Operate analysis: To prepare patent landscape reports and Freedom to Operate searches
• Infringement analysis, Pre-grant and Post-grant Oppositions, FDA queries, Market Extensions etc.
• Timely monitoring of patent/ exclusivity updates for pipeline drug products
• Patent Validity Opinions: To give opinions on validity/ invalidity of a particular patent and technology
• Paragraph Certifications strategies and Carve-out label analysis etc.
• Attending Formulation, RA and BD queries related to Intellectual Property Rights
• Patent Drafting, Filing, and Prosecution
• New Drug Product Selections: Determining competitor portfolios, crucial generic entry dates etc.
• Trademark and Trade-dress analysis: To perform trademark and trade-dress searches related to R&D products.
