Role: Manager - Sustainability Climate Action Certification/Decarbonization

Location: PUNE

Position Summary

1. Support in regular operation management of decarbonization and sustainability office for TUV SUD group.

2. Responsible for coordination, analyze and deriving action plan and presentations, in relation to strategic initiatives and projects handled by corporate sustainability office

Responsibility and Authority

1. Responsible for coordination and gathering of key strategies in line with Sustainability office goal and target for the entire group.

2. Support monthly review calls by preparing key data reports and help in reviewing and follow up of actions points as agreed in meetings within sustainability office and with extended group of people.

3. Support in working of lighthouse and strategic project management, reporting and costing (review and setting of rationale, process, support in handling experts from region, division and corporate)

4. Support in preparation of presentation for various management meetings by analysis, streamlining and accumulating suitable data and information from all the functions across organization.

5. Support in development of global decarbonization/climate action service portfolio for global launch which includes preparation of marketing asset, handling selected key customers mainly from hard to abate sector

6. Work closely with experts and managers from various divisions and regions as well as client-facing teams to develop short to long term strategy to increase market presence new service launch.

7. Support in global partnership around Climate finance, carbon capture storage and utilization (CCUS)

Education / The Skills Required

- Masters degree in environmental science/engineering, natural science, or related field. An additional degree in business administration and masters degrees will be considered a plus.

- Experience in working in climate action certification, CCUS, climate finance and related areas.

Experience

- 6 years of experience with a minimum of 4 years relevant experience in working in sustainability area.

- knowledge of climate change and new energy related regulation and market across globe.

- Proven ability to make presentations and high level of strategic papers.

- Experience in working with multi-disciplined diverse teams in a project environment.

- Strong analytical skills, ability to draft technical project report and presentation

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
