Dy. Manager - Costing

Role & responsibilities

1. Benchmarking efficiency parameters across the plants and assessing their financial impact 
2. Perform monthly plant wise product wise cost benchmarking and provide cost benefit analysis
3. Coordinating with the Costing Team to reconcile data with the Trial Balance, analysing deviations, setting benchmarks, and identifying improvement areas.
4. Monitoring and controlling SG&A (Selling, General & Administrative) expenses, ensuring alignment with the budget and last year's benchmarks, providing insights to management, and collaborating with stakeholders for effective cost control.
5. Developing the annual SG&A budget for Cement and RMX businesses.
6. Preparing monthly KPI and costing presentations for management review.
7. Prepare monthly stock reports detailing all movements of Finished Goods (FG) and Semi-Finished Goods (SFG).
8. Assist in preparing quarterly Board presentations.
9. Support in preparation of monthly reports, including MBR and MPR, primarily focusing on costing slides. 
10. Develop and focus on new cost-saving reports by analyzing innovative ideas and identifying opportunities for optimization.
11. Plant visit and engage with the plant team to identify opportunities for cost savings.
12. Analysis of key sales and Logistics line items
