Independent Consultant - Specialty & Agrochemical Industry - Contractual (15-26 yrs)

We are seeking an experienced Independent Consultant with expertise in Specialty and Agrochemical industries to provide high-level strategic advice, guidance, and insights. This advisory role will focus on delivering expert analysis and recommendations to help our team make informed decisions on product development, market trends, regulatory changes, and overall business strategy within the agrochemical space.

Key Responsibilities:

- Industry Analysis: Provide market and technical analysis on trends within the specialty chemicals and agrochemical industries.

- Strategic Guidance: Advise on long-term strategies for market entry, product development, and business expansion within the agrochemical sector.

- Regulatory Insight: Offer expert knowledge on evolving regulations and standards in the agrochemical industry, ensuring the company remains compliant.

- Product Development: Support and guide product development teams in formulating and enhancing specialty chemicals for agrochemical applications.

- Market Intelligence: Provide insights into customer behavior, competitive landscape, and emerging opportunities within the agrochemical market.

- Supply Chain & Sourcing: Advise on optimal sourcing strategies, supplier relationships, and overall supply chain management within the industry.

- Risk Mitigation: Identify potential risks within the sector, including environmental, regulatory, and market-related factors, and provide strategies to mitigate these risks.

- Networking & Partnerships: Leverage existing networks and relationships to build partnerships or collaborations that can benefit the business.

Qualifications:

- Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of the agrochemical market, including key players, products, and technologies.

- Consulting Experience: Proven track record of providing strategic consulting and advisory services, particularly in highly regulated industries like agrochemicals or specialty chemicals.

- Regulatory Expertise: In-depth knowledge of agrochemical regulations (e.g., REACH, FIFRA, or similar regulations in target regions).

- Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze complex data and translate it into actionable recommendations.

- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey complex information clearly to diverse audiences.

- Self-Starter: Ability to work independently, manage projects, and provide results under minimal supervision.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Advanced degree (M.S. or Ph.D.) in Chemistry, Agricultural Science, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
