Sr. Executive - Vendor Management

Role & responsibilities

• Ensure vendor screening, risk assessment and background

verification process.

• Define parameters to be accessed during vendor selection to

identify the most suitable vendors for the group.

• Define standard operating procedures (SOP), guildeline and

timelines for selection, on boarding and evaluation of vendors

accross all region.

• Laise with legal team to create standard vendor contracts.
• Review the finalized commercial terms and vendor contracts such

that they clearly delineate the groups quality and timeline

expectations.

• Oversee the process of vendor documentation collection, vendor

master data creation, and timely update for enabling smooth

vendor registration and onboarding process.

• Monitor the adherence to the code of conduct by the vendors in

accordance with the terms in the contract to avoid any deviation

from the group standards.

• Lead the development of vendor performance evaluation

parameters and score cards to track vendor performance and

identify the development required for the vendors.

• Oversee the training and development for the vendors to build

their capability

• Efficiently handle escalations in vendor grievances and ensure a

timely resolution of the same to maintain the positive relation with

the vendor

• Define the criteria of termination and blacklisting of the vendors

along with the detailed suspension process to appropriately

manage any divergence in the vendor code of conduct

• Build and sustain long standing relationships with vendors to

reduce attrition and identify vendor capability that can be further

leveraged (especially for bespoke orders)
