Azure Administrator

Role & responsibilities

• Provision and configure Azure resources, including VMs, storage accounts and virtual networks.
• Implement and manage Azure Entra ID for identity and access management.
• Monitor Azure environments using tools like Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.
• Analyze and troubleshoot performance issues in cloud infrastructure and services.
• Implement and maintain security measures, including Just-In-Time,NSGs, and encryption.
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies and industry standards in the Azure environment.
• Configure and manage backup solutions for Azure resources.
• Plan and implement disaster recovery strategies using Azure Site Recovery.
• Understanding of networking concepts (VPN, Load Balancers, DNS, Subnets).
• Knowledge of scripting and automation using PowerShell or similar tools.
• Automate repetitive tasks using PowerShell, ARM templates, or Azure CLI.
• Optimize Azure resources to ensure cost efficiency and scalability

Preferred candidate profile

• Strong knowledge of Azure services (Compute, Storage, Databases, etc.).
• Hands-on experience with Azure management tools (Portal, CLI, PowerShell).
• Proficiency in virtualization technologies (Hyper-V, VMware).
• Understanding of networking concepts (VPN, Load Balancers, DNS, Subnets).
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools in Azure.
• Knowledge of scripting and automation using PowerShell or similar tools.
• Extensive Knowledge of WindowsServer and WindowsOS.
• Az900/Az104Certification is added to Advantage. • Knowledge on ISMS/MTCS Audit is added to advantage.
