Cyber Security Engineer

Role & responsibilities

• Identify security vulnerabilities using OWASP Top 10 or SANS 25 frameworks and perform penetration testing.
• Perform manual and automated for both web and mobile applications and familiar with security testing using tools like Burp Suite, Nessus, OWASP ZAP, Mobsf.
• Prepare detailed VAPT reports and provide remediation recommendations to the development and infrastructure teams.
• Validate security fixes and perform retesting after remediation
• Provide security consultation during project planning and implementation.

Preferred candidate profile

• Hands-on experience with VAPT tools like Nessus, Burp Suite, Nmap, Kali Linux, OWASP ZAP, Wireshark, Postman.
• Knowledge of OWASP Top 10, SANS Top 25, etc.
• Experience with secure coding practices and code review processes.
• Familiarity with Linux and Python/Bash scripting (Added Advantage).
• Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication skills for reporting and collaboration within teams.
