Job Description
- Participating in the design, development and maintenance of test plans, test cases, and test scripts
- Create test cases based of business requirements
- Executing manual and automated test cases to validate software functionality
- Identifying, reporting, and tracking software defects and bugs
- Participating in root cause analysis of defects
- Ability to manage your testing tasks and adjust as needed
- Make and/or implementation recommendations to improve overall testing
- Implement repeatable and automated processes for manual testing
- Works with cross-functional teams to share ideas on quality issues and solutions
- Works with development and product teams to understand product and software requirements
- Communicating testing progress, results, and issues to stakeholders
- Providing information for Go / no go recommendations
- Assisting in the design and implementation of test automation processes and tools
- Providing support for ongoing testing and quality activities.
- Adhering to company policies and standards such as QA exit criteria, SOC 2
- Adhere to and modeling Majesco core values
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Five or more years of experience in software testing or quality assurance
- Strong knowledge of software development processes and methodologies, such as Agile, Scrum, and DevOps
- Experience with software testing tools and methodologies, such as manual testing, automated, performance and security testing
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to analyze complex information and data to identify trends and potential problems
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines
- Experience with test case design and maintenance
- Understanding of software quality and security standards
