Process Engineer

Role & responsibilities

• Responsible for defining the process, required tools, fixture, machineries and equipment to manufacture new products.
• Improve and optimize the existing process on process capability, quality, cost, cycle time etc to meet the SQCDM targets
• Plan and budget for all resources including manpower to meet the sales plan and support in business planning activities.
• Define the capacity of the assembly line, plan and execute capacity increase plan
• Prepare and release process documentations like PFC, PFMEA, control plan, wort instruction for process
• Study, define and release cycle time for all process and define production targets for all assembly line.
• Plan and maintain tools and fixtures for all assembly line
• Contribute as part of cross functional team / lead problem solving for customer and internal quality complaints
• Maintain master data in SAP like BOM, Material master, Routing etc and coordinate SAP activities.
• Track and manage implementation of engineering change notifications in the plant.

Preferred candidate profile

• Experience in process engineering for assembly line in automotive industries
• Experience in machine ordering for assembly and testing machines
• Experience in creating manufacturing documents like PFC, PFMEA, Control plan and WI
• Experience in study and release of cycle time for assembly lines
• Knowledge in controller assembly and Motor assembly
• Experience in implementing Lean manufacturing systems
