Manager Sourcing

Job Purpose.
To source material as per approved specifications within approved budget and as per project requirements to control the overall Cost of construction.
Principal Accountabilities.
Being responsible for Material sourcing for the allocated region.
Driving best practices for Sourcing by implementing vision, strategy, policies, SOP and improving business performance.
Implementing purchasing strategy and processes and ensuring they are in place to meet business objectives in terms of price, quality, delivery, supplier selection, evaluation & budget monitoring.
Sourcing for Steel / TMT bars, Cement, finishing items, capital goods across the country.
Negotiating on Annual/Long-term Rate Contract Basis for long time and trying for Cost reduction within committed delivery timeline & assured quality.
Searching for alternate products for cost reduction to replace the ones in use without changing quality parameters.
