Purchase and Stores Executive

Role & responsibilities

• Handling the material department including the Stores, Receiving and Purchase.
• Co-ordination with Finance /Account department to ensure the Timely Clearance of Out- Standing bill / Payment as per statutory norms.
• Maintaining Purchase records.
• Should have a thorough knowledge of Cold storage.
• Doing regular entries in the system.
• Checking the store items on regular basis with proper opening and closing of warehouse timing.
• Raw material arranged & used on FIFO (First In First Out) and FEFO (First Expired First Out) method on regular basis and marked
• Checking expiry items of the material
• Making sure the items receiving with all receiver sticker and date label.
• We keep our overall storage area neat and clean and tidy.
• Making sure all storage rack/cupboard are clean and tidy.
• Making sure all storage rack/cupboard are dust free.
• Updating the system as per material received and issuing on daily basis with system updated.
• Making sure all the material are kept 18 inches and off the floor 6 inches of the floor and ensure proper cleaning and inspection.
• Food Material, Chemical and stationary items are stored away from each other.
• Storage rack/Cupboard has material board with detailing the material stored in.
• Digital display of weighing balance has valid calibration certificates.
• Material receiving with digital scaling and checking the quantity on regular basis.
• Pest control for cupboard warehouse maintain on weekly basis regular.
• All Issued material noted down with the date of manufacture, expiry date.
