Key Responsibilities:

• Teach undergraduate and postgraduate students, ensuring high academic standards.
• Conduct lectures, practical sessions, and tutorials on clinical and experimental pharmacology.
• Supervise research projects, dissertations, and pharmacovigilance activities.
• Oversee hospital-based pharmacology services, including drug audits, rational prescribing, and ADR monitoring.
• Engage in clinical pharmacology consultations and support rational drug use in the hospital.
• Contribute to curriculum development and academic planning in accordance with NMC guidelines.
• Publish research in indexed journals and participate in medical conferences.
• Ensure compliance with institutional and regulatory policies related to pharmacology education.
• Mentor students in academic and research activities.
• Collaborate with other departments to improve interdisciplinary learning and hospital services.

Eligibility Criteria (As per NMC Guidelines)

✔ Senior Resident: MD in Pharmacology from a recognized institution.
✔ Assistant Professor: Minimum 1 year of Senior Resident experience.
✔ Associate Professor: Minimum 4 years of Assistant Professor experience.
✔ Professor: Minimum 3 years of Associate Professor experience with a total of 8 years of teaching experience.
