Job Title: Bike Ride Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Bike Ride Manager to oversee the planning, organization, and execution of cycling events and bike rides. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cycling, strong leadership skills, and experience in event management or outdoor recreation. This role involves coordinating logistics, managing safety protocols, and ensuring a seamless experience for participants.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, organize, and execute bike rides and cycling events.
• Develop routes, ensuring safety, accessibility, and compliance with local regulations.
• Coordinate with local authorities, sponsors, and partners to facilitate smooth event operations.
• Recruit, train, and manage volunteers and ride leaders.
• Ensure proper safety measures, first-aid availability, and risk assessments are in place.
• Manage budgets, sponsorships, and vendor relationships.
• Promote events through marketing, social media, and community outreach.
• Monitor participant feedback and implement improvements for future events.
• Maintain equipment, bicycles, and logistics for ride operations.
• Ensure compliance with environmental and sustainability practices.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Proven experience in event management, outdoor recreation, or a related field.
• Strong organizational and leadership skills.
• Passion for cycling and knowledge of cycling safety regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and early mornings.
• First aid and CPR certification (preferred).
• Experience with budgeting and sponsorship acquisition.
• Proficiency in using route-planning software and GPS devices.
