Role & responsibilities

1. Should report on time for duty

2. Should dress neatly and wear White Coat

3. Should accompany all consultants on rounds and take his / her rounds for patients not seen with consultants

4. Should write proper notes of new admissions and fill up initial assessment form

5. Should update the investigation sheet daily

6. Should write provisional diagnosis for each patient on computer sheet

7. Should give proper written hand over and take over to the relieving doctor, (patient-wise)

8. Should attend patients problem immediately and inform Unit In-charge, if necessary
