Structural Engineer

Role & responsibilities

• Develop structural designs and calculations in compliance with industry standards, regulations, and project requirements.
• Perform structural analysis using advanced software tools and methodologies.
• Review project specifications, architectural drawings, and other related documents to determine structural requirements.
• Lead the design of structural components such as foundations, beams, columns, slabs, and other necessary elements for various projects.
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineers to ensure the feasibility and functionality of designs.
• Review and verify calculations, drawings, and designs to ensure compliance with relevant codes and regulations.
• Assess the structural integrity of existing buildings and provide recommendations for repairs or modifications as needed.
• Monitor the progress of construction work and ensure it is carried out according to approved designs.
• Provide technical support during construction, addressing queries, and assisting in solving any design-related issues.
• Conduct site inspections and supervise the work of junior engineers to ensure that projects meet design and safety standards.
• Contribute to the preparation of project reports, budgets, and timelines, ensuring adherence to project milestones and deadlines.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, new technologies, and relevant standards.
