Bootloader Testing Engineer

Job Introduction

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Boot Loader software Tester to join our software team.
In this role, you will be responsible for testing the boot loader software for our automotive systems.

Major Responsibilities

• End to end testing of the boot loader software for automotive embedded systems.
• CAN, CANFD, FR based UDS compliant Bootloader Testing for Transfer Case, Inverter ECU,
• BTL Architecture, Secure Boot and Signatures.
• Cybersecurity and Secure Boot requirement testing.
• Involve in System Test Specification preparation.
• ECU - Network Management Tests for Bootloader. Responsible to perform HiL Verification for Automotive projects -HiL Tests using ECU Tests, Diva, Manual tests.
• CAPL Script development for Bootloader HiL Tests.
• Test Plan, Test Strategy, HiL Verification Report preparation and involve in Verification Reviews.
• Verification for End of Line Bootloader, Vehicle Bootloader, Magna Bootloaders.
• Good understanding on ISO-14229(UDS), ISO15765(ISO TP).
• Good understanding on CAN/LIN tools- Canoe, DIVA, CANalyzer, vFlash, vTestStudio, ECU
• Test, IBM Rational DOORS, DNG etc.
• Debuggers -Lauterbach.
• ASPICE process understanding.

Knowledge and Education

• In-depth knowledge of boot loader concepts and cybersecurity concepts.
• Capable of writing the test plan, Understanding the customer requirements and
• Requirement-based testing to cover all the requirements.
• Knowledge of automotive standards and protocols (e.g., AUTOSAR, ISO 26262) is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Work Experience :2 to 5 Years

Skills and Competencies

• Bachelor s or master s degree in computer science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in boot loader Testing for embedded systems, preferably in the automotive industry
