Senior/Lead ASIC Verification Engineer (5-10 yrs)

Position : ASIC Verification Sr. Engineer/Lead

Job Description :

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop comprehensive verification plans, including test plans, coverage plans, and verification methodologies.

- Define verification scope, identify verification risks, and develop mitigation strategies.

- Design and implement robust verification environments using industry-standard methodologies like UVM, OVM, or VMM.

- Develop reusable verification components, such as testbenches, assertions, and checkers.

- Develop directed and constrained-random testbenches to cover various design scenarios and corner cases.

- Write high-quality test cases to verify functional and performance requirements.

- Execute functional verification tasks, including simulation, debugging, and root cause analysis.

- Analyze simulation results to identify design issues and propose solutions.

- Implement coverage-driven verification techniques to ensure comprehensive functional coverage.

- Analyze coverage metrics to identify gaps and prioritize testing efforts.

- Utilize formal verification tools to prove the correctness of design properties.

- Lead and mentor a team of verification engineers.

- Assign tasks, track progress, and provide guidance to team members.

- Conduct regular reviews and provide feedback to ensure high-quality deliverables.

- Interact with clients to understand their requirements and provide technical updates.

- Address client queries and concerns in a timely and effective manner.

Required Skills and Experience :

- 5-10 years of experience in ASIC verification.

- Strong proficiency in SystemVerilog and Verilog.

- Hands-on experience with UVM, OVM, or VMM methodologies.

- Experience in developing complex testbenches and verification environments.

- Knowledge of industry-standard protocols like Ethernet, PCIe, MIPI, USB, or similar.

- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.

- Strong understanding of digital design concepts.

- Experience with scripting languages (Perl, Python, TCL).

- Good communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with formal verification tools.

- Knowledge of low-power verification techniques.

- Experience with emulation and FPGA prototyping
