The Chief Manager - Information Technology is a strategic and operational leader responsible for driving the IT agenda to support organizational growth and innovation. The role involves overseeing IT infrastructure, systems, and projects, ensuring robust cybersecurity, and aligning technology with business objectives.Key ResponsibilitiesIT Strategy & Leadership Develop and execute the organization's IT strategy to align with business goals. Drive innovation by identifying and implementing emerging technologies. Provide leadership to the IT team, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.Infrastructure & Systems Management Oversee the management, maintenance, and security of IT systems and infrastructure. Ensure high availability and performance of IT services and systems. Plan and execute system upgrades, migrations, and integrations.Cybersecurity & Compliance Establish and enforce IT security policies to protect organizational data and systems. Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory and legal requirements (e.g., GDPR, ISO 27001). Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to identify and mitigate vulnerabilities.Project Management Lead and manage IT projects, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget. Coordinate with internal stakeholders to gather requirements and prioritize initiatives. Track project progress, resolve issues, and communicate updates to leadership.Vendor & Budget Management Manage relationships with technology vendors, ensuring optimal service delivery. Prepare and manage the IT budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness and value creation. Evaluate and negotiate contracts for software, hardware, and IT services.Team Development Mentor and develop the IT team, ensuring skill enhancement and succession planning.
