The Relationship Manager for Shopkeeper Loans will be responsible for acquiring, managing, and growing a portfolio of shopkeeper clients. The role involves understanding the financial needs of shopkeepers, providing tailored loan solutions, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. The Relationship Manager will work closely with the sales and credit teams to achieve business targets and contribute to the overall growth of the NBFC.
Principal Accountabilities
Client Acquisition:
Identify and target potential shopkeeper clients through various channels such as market visits, referrals, and networking.
Conduct market research to understand the financial needs and challenges faced by shopkeepers.
Develop and implement strategies to acquire new clients and expand the customer base.
Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
Conduct regular follow-ups and meetings with clients to understand their financial requirements and provide appropriate loan solutions.
Ensure timely resolution of client queries and issues to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
Loan Processing:
Assist clients in completing loan applications and gather necessary documentation.
Coordinate with the credit team to ensure timely processing and approval of loan applications.
Conduct preliminary credit assessments and provide recommendations to the credit team.
Sales and Business Development:
Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets for shopkeeper business loans.
Develop and execute sales plans to increase loan disbursements and market penetration.
Collaborate with the marketing team to organize promotional activities and campaigns.
Compliance and Risk Management:
Ensure all loan applications and processes comply with regulatory and company policies.
Monitor and manage the loan portfolio to minimize delinquency and default rates.
Conduct periodic reviews of client accounts to assess creditworthiness and financial health.
Reporting and Analysis:
Prepare and submit regular reports on sales activities, loan disbursements, and portfolio performance.
Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and threats.
Provide feedback and insights to the management team to improve products and services.
Desired Profile
Graduate degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
Should have1-3 years of experience Shopkeeper loans. Should have worked in the same or similar product
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to analyse complex credit data and make informed decisions.
