Job Description
We are looking for a highlyskilled Automation Lead with expertise in the Microsoft Power Platform andother automation technologies. The ideal candidate will be responsible forleading the design, development, and deployment of automation solutions thatenhance business processes, improve efficiency, and drive digitaltransformation initiatives. This role requires a deep understanding ofMicrosoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and PowerVirtual Agents) and other related automation tools, coupled with strongleadership and project management capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Automation Strategy: Define and execute the automation strategy, focusingon leveraging the Microsoft Power Platform to optimize business processes.
Solution Design: Lead the design of end-to-end automation solutions,including process workflows, data integrations, and custom applications usingPower Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI.
Development andImplementation: Oversee thedevelopment, testing, and deployment of automation solutions. Provide technicalguidance to development teams and ensure solutions align with businessrequirements and technical standards.
Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process automation acrossthe organization. Work closely with business stakeholders to understand theirneeds and translate them into scalable automation solutions.
Integration: Develop and manage integrations between the MicrosoftPower Platform and other enterprise systems using connectors, APIs, and customsolutions.
Leadership: Lead a team of developers and automation specialists,providing mentorship, technical guidance, and performance management.
Governance and BestPractices: Establish governanceframeworks, best practices, and standards for automation projects. Ensurecompliance with security and data protection regulations.
Training and Support: Provide training and support to users andstakeholders on deployed automation solutions. Develop documentation, includinguser guides and technical manuals.
Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with the latest trends andadvancements in the Microsoft Power Platform and related technologies.Continuously improve and evolve the automation framework to meet changingbusiness needs.
Project Management: Manage automation projects from inception tocompletion, including scoping, planning, execution, monitoring, and reporting.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor s degree in computer science, InformationTechnology, Engineering, or a related field.
Experience:
- 2+ years of experience inIT, with at least 1+ years of experience in automation using Microsoft PowerPlatform.
- Proven experience leadingautomation projects, including design, development, and deployment ofsolutions.
- Hands-on experience withPower Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Power Virtual Agents.
- Experience with otherautomation tools (e.g., UiPath, Blue Prism) is a plus.
Skills:
- Strong understanding ofworkflow automation, RPA (Robotic Process Automation), and low-code/no-codedevelopment.
- Proficiency in integratingPower Platform with Microsoft 365, Dynamics 365, Azure, and other enterpriseapplications.
- Design, developsolutions using Power Platform tools like Power Apps, Canvas App, PowerPortals, Power BI, UI forms using Power Apps
- Should have goodexperience in Canvas App Configuration, Canvas App Functions, OOB Connectors,Power Portals, Power BI Reporting.
- Configuration andTroubleshooting of applications Design and Develop Applications that meets theStandard Accessibility,
- Security andPerformance- Good Understanding on CDS and Model Driven Apps.
- Should have Good Experienceon using Standard Connectors and Premium Connectors- Should be able to workclosely with the customer and work towards the solutioning of the requirements.
- Excellent leadership,communication, and project management skills.
- Strong analytical andproblem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work effectivelyin a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Certifications: Microsoft Power Platform certifications arehighly desirable.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Azure LogicApps, AI Builder, and Dataverse.
- Familiarity with Agilemethodologies and DevOps practices.
- Knowledge of datagovernance and compliance standards.
- Proven experience indeveloping Power Apps solutions for business applications.
- Proficiency in PowerPlatform components, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power VirtualAgents.
- Strong understanding ofMicrosoft 365, SharePoint, and data integration concepts.
