Pricing & Configuration Specialist - Oracle CPQ (3-6 yrs)

Job Summary :

We are seeking a Pricing and Configuration Specialist with expertise in Configure, Price, Quote (CPQ) solutions and ERP integration to join our global team. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience with PROS or related CPQ platforms, along with a solid background in pricing and SAP configuration. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design and implement configurations, and support the ongoing development of ERP-based business systems.

For candidates at the P3 level or below, lateral skills in Oracle CPQ, Big Machines, SAP CPQ Callidus, Zilliant, Vendavo, or PriceFx will be considered as equivalent experience.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Requirements Gathering & Documentation :

- Collaborate with business users, management, and cross-functional teams to gather and understand business requirements.

- Document functional business requirements, including input/output specifications, process maps, and business benefits.

- Ensure requirements are comprehensively defined and understood by all relevant teams.

2. System Design & Solution Blueprinting :

- Lead blueprinting sessions with external vendors and global cross-functional teams to develop optimal solutions.

- Assess solutions to meet business requirements and provide guidance on best practices for CPQ and SAP (ECC and S/4) interfaces.

- Provide cost estimates, define risks, and recommend programming enhancements when standard solutions are not feasible.

3. Configuration & Implementation Support :

- Translate business requirements into configurations for CPQ platforms or SAP, documenting complex or unique configurations as needed.

- Support development, testing, and migration of configurations to production environments.

- Manage issue resolution through PROS or equivalent ticketing software.

4. Development Specification & Oversight :

- Document functional requirements for ABAP/CDS views, CPQ platforms (such as PROS Control & Guidance, Smart CPQ), and other relevant interfaces.

- Provide oversight to offshore development teams to ensure accurate interpretation of requirements and effective, supportable solutions.

- Guide test scenario development, ensuring quality data and thorough validation of solutions.

Experience :

- Minimum of 5 years of experience with PROS Control & Guidance, Smart CPQ, or equivalent CPQ platforms.

- PROS Analytics and Pricing 301 certifications (or equivalent) are preferred.

- Preferred : 3 years of experience in SAP ECC/S4 Sales and Distribution, specifically in pricing requirements and formula routines.

Preferred Lateral Skills :

- Configuration Skills : Experience with Oracle CPQ, Big Machines, SAP CPQ Callidus, or equivalent CPQ solutions.

- Pricing/SPOM Skills : Experience with Zilliant, Vendavo, PriceFx, or equivalent pricing platforms.

Technical Skills :

- Familiarity with Oracle/PLSQL, XML, HTML, and Java is a plus.

- Proficiency in English for effective communication in consulting, documentation, and training.
