Associate Solution Architect - Cloud Infrastructure (5-10 yrs)

Responsibilities :

- Design, deploy, and manage highly scalable and reliable search platforms using Lucidworks Fusion and Apache Solr.

- Configure and maintain search clusters on cloud environments (GKE, AWS EC2).

- Ensure high availability, fault tolerance, and disaster recovery for search infrastructure.

- Analyze search performance metrics and identify areas for optimization.

- Tune search configurations, queries, and indexing strategies to improve relevance and speed.

- Conduct performance testing and benchmarking to ensure optimal system performance.

- Implement advanced search features, including faceted search, spell correction, and synonym management.

- Integrate machine learning models for query understanding, ranking, and personalization.

- Experience with search ranking algorithms and recommendation systems.

- Develop and implement automation scripts for search platform deployment, monitoring, and maintenance.

- Integrate search platforms with other enterprise systems and data sources.

- Familiarity with Apache Nutch and other web crawling technologies preferred.

- Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and data scientists to define search requirements and solutions.

- Provide technical guidance and support to development teams.

- Participate in code reviews and knowledge sharing sessions.

Qualifications :

- 5 to 10 years of experience in deploying, optimizing, and scaling search platforms.

- Strong expertise in Lucidworks Fusion and Apache Solr.

- Proven experience with cloud platforms, particularly Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) and Amazon Web Services Elastic Compute Cloud (AWS EC2).

- Solid understanding of cloud-based architectures and infrastructure.

- Experience with search ranking algorithms and recommendation systems.

- Familiarity with Apache Nutch and other web crawling technologies preferred.

- Proficiency in scripting and automation (e.g., Python, Bash).

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science1 or a related field.
