What are we looking for?

We are looking for a skilled and innovative Cloud Solution Architect to join our team.

In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing modern infrastructure solutions that improve efficiency, scalability, and resilience for our clients.

You will collaborate closely with clients, project teams, and technical experts to assess existing infrastructure, develop modernisation strategies, and lead the implementation of transformative solutions.

What you'll do as a Solutions Architect with us?

- Work closely with clients to understand their business requirements and technical challenges.

- Design cloud-based solutions that meet client needs while adhering to industry best practices and security standards.

- Provide domain expertise around public cloud and enterprise technology and effectively promote Google Cloud.

- Design end-to-end modernisation solutions that leverage cloud services, automation, and other emerging technologies to enhance performance, reliability, and security.

- Develop comprehensive modernisation roadmaps, including migration plans, cost estimates, and risk assessments.

- Lead the implementation of infrastructure modernisation projects, including infrastructure as code (IaC) deployment, configuration management, and testing.

- Make recommendations on integration strategies, enterprise architectures, platforms, and application infrastructure required to successfully implement a complete solution providing best practice advice to customers to optimise Google Cloud effectiveness.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, engineering, and operations, to ensure successful project delivery.

- Conduct technical presentations and demonstrations to clients and stakeholders.

- Stay up-to-date on emerging cloud technologies and trends, and evaluate their potential impact on our solutions and services.

- Participate in pre-sales activities, including solution development, proposal writing, and client presentations.

What are the must-haves to join us?

We believe so. But there is no way to locate you otherwise :

- So we might look for at least a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and preferably an MBA along with.

- Any current Google Cloud Certifications will be an added benefit and extra points if this is Professional Cloud Architect.

- 7+ years of relevant experience.

- Experience with structured Enterprise Architecture practices, hybrid cloud deployments, and on-premise-to-cloud migration deployments and roadmaps.

- Experience in network infrastructure, security, and application development.

- Experience in building, architecting, designing, and implementing distributed global cloud-based systems.

- Experience in technology solutions, the enterprise technology buying/evaluation process, and large-scale computing solutions.

- Hands-on experience with infrastructure automation and configuration management tools, such as Terraform, Ansible, or Puppet.

- Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools, including CI/CD pipelines, version control, and infrastructure as code.

- Ability to learn and understand emerging technologies, methodologies, and solutions in the Cloud/IT technology space.

- Ability to deliver results, work cross-functionally, engage/influence audiences, and identify expansion engagements.
