In IT Security & Platforms, you will join a team of 6 talented and welcoming colleagues
The IT Governance Specialist is responsible for establishing and maintaining policies and procedures to ensure the proper management, security, and integrity of the organization s IT assets
They oversee access, regulatory compliance, and manage contracts related to governance
Additionally, they handle vendor management to ensure third-party compliance with company policies, standards and regulations
Incorporating IT Security, they work as part of the IT Security and Platforms team to implement best practices for data protection, conduct regular audits, and mitigate potential security risks
Their role is crucial in safeguarding sensitive information and ensuring that data is used responsibly and securely across the organization
As an IT Governance Specialist at Maersk Tankers, you will -
Develop and implement governance frameworks and policies
Control access and ensure compliance with regulations
Oversee contract management related to governance and IT security
Handle vendor management to ensure third-party compliance with governance and security standards
Collaborate with various departments to ensure security best practices are followed
Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify and mitigate security risks

As our new IT Governance Specialist, we do, however, expect that you can contribute with the following
An ideal candidate should have an advanced degree in Computer or Information Science or related field with 2 to 5 years of relevant work experience and below abilities -
Proven experience in governance, access management, contract management, and vendor management
Good understanding of IT security principles and practices
Good analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Good communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal
Experience working with frameworks such as NIST, CIS18, ISO27001 and COBIT
