Software Engineer- Frontend

Job Title: Frontend Engineer - Maersk Developer Platform (MDP)

Job Summary: As a Frontend Engineer on the Maersk Developer Platform (MDP) team, you will contribute to building and improving the Internal Developer Platform (IDP) used by developers across Maersk. Your focus will be on creating effective, user-centric interfaces that support application development and deployment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design and Develop Dynamic Interfaces: Build and maintain responsive, user-friendly interfaces using React 18, ensuring seamless user experiences across the platform.

2. Optimize Performance: Leverage Vite as a build tool to create highly optimized, fast-loading frontend applications.

3. State and Data Management: Utilize SWR or similar tools (e. g. , React Query) to manage state and handle data-fetching efficiently.

4. Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with backend engineers, UX designers, and product managers to deliver end-to-end solutions aligned with MDP s goals.

5. Implement Best Practices: Ensure code quality and maintainability by adhering to best practices in frontend development, including component-based architecture and reusable code patterns.

6. Troubleshoot and Debug: Diagnose and resolve performance and usability issues to ensure a flawless user experience.

7. Stay Ahead of Trends: Continuously explore and adopt the latest tools and technologies in frontend development to improve the platform and developer experience.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
