Full Stack Developer

 We are looking for an analytical, results-driven Backend/Full stack Developer who will work with our Engineering team to troubleshoot and improve our solutions and processes. Using your knowledge of application development, along with your understanding of programming languages and tools, you ll analyse current and write new codes, formulate more efficient processes, solve problems, and create a more seamless experience for users. You should be comfortable working alongside a team as well as independently. Our team works at a fast pace and our operation runs 24/7. You must be comfortable with technical challenges, and able to solve them.

  Primary Responsibilities:

•  Developing and evolving the platform using the latest software development infrastructure and methods

•  Maintain core databases and manage application program interfaces (APIs)

•  Write code to deliver the desired functionality aligned with the engineering department s overall standards and guidelines

•  Test and debug back end processes to ensure that program functions smoothly and effectively at all times

•  Work closely with front-end developers in building and ensuring synchrony in the development of the platform

•  Conduct unit tests, code reviews, refactor the current source codes, assess and improve platform performance, and maintain design and code documentation

•  Participate in the application lifecycle with particular focus on removing the bugs and improving the code

  Requirements:

•  2+ years experience as a Backend Developer

•  Experience in coding languages: PHP, Node. JS

•  Knowledge and understanding of Linux OS is a plus

•  Knowledge on Docker and container technologies is a plus

•  Strong organizational skills with ability to prioritize workloads and meet tight deadlines

•  Demonstrate ability to stay calm and composed under pressure

•  Comfortable in a fast-paced start up environment that is constantly evolving
