Manager - Engineering

Role- Manager Engineering, Madhucon Project Limited

Location- Head Office, Hyderabad

Experience- 15+ years of experience in mineral processing/material handling equipment/system engineering

Qualification- BE-Mechanical/Electrical/ Civil

Responsibilities:-

Age- 30 to 45 years Plans and coordinates engineering activities to develop and apply standardized design criteria and production requirements for parts and equipment used in Material Handling equipment & Crushing & Screening equipment. Coal, Fertilizer, Bauxite plants layout optimization with respective available resources.

To efficiently and effectively fulfill all the Engineering services requirements of bidding projects, mines infrastructure under development and operational mines and washeries through Engineering Resource Centre team (includes Mechanical, Electrical, Utilities, Instrumentations, Civil and Structural).

To create value addition, Continual process improvement, optimizing cost, aligning team work with business requirement, leveraging technology and latest trends in engineering services for effective and efficient engineering services

Close coordination with all departments (BD, Mineplaning, Mine Sites, Project Sites, and Services Department) to Identify and manage engineering requests for bidding projects, mines under development and operational mines and washeries.

Provide mechanism or process or system for smooth delivery of services and proper tracking of status of delivery for all customers

Establishes and maintains liaison between engineering and other departments to formulate and apply design criteria and production requirements for proposed products and services.

Analyzes product & project design data to determine conformance to established design selection criteria, Vendor validation, tracking the progress of project and product use of standardized parts and equipment, and design-to-cost ratio.

Approves initial design or recommends modifications based on reducibility, cost, and component technology factors.

Evaluates and approves selection of vendors without deviating the technical requirement.

Initiates and provides technical direction for research and development programs to enhance production methods, improve parts and equipment technology, and reduce costs.

Develops methods and programs to predict, track, and report production costs during design development.

Optimize Power and water utilization by aid of utility technology for mining application.

100% knowledge on optimize and sizing design calculation for material handling equipment and crushing and screening components by using the standard code practices ( ISO 5049,IS 11592,ASME ,BS & DIN

Requirements:

• Adequate exposure and experience in selection/vetting the selection of the CHP equipment pertaining to any specific application.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical design principles, Drawings, computation/review of Flow diagram, Plant layout ,Estimation, and Preparation of all the technical Specifications per the contract.
• Basic knowledge in the material and manufacturing methods and Quality process the parts would be appreciated.
• Strong leadership and project management skills
• Proficiency in the MS office, AutoCAD suite is a mustRole & responsibilities
