Software Development Engineer IV - Node.js/TypeScript (8-12 yrs)

Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and implement complex software applications using Node.js and TypeScript

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, design, QA) to understand requirements and deliver high-quality solutions

- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code

- Conduct code reviews and provide mentorship to junior engineers

- Participate in system design discussions and provide technical leadership

- Stay up-to-date on the latest Node.js and JavaScript technologies

- Experience working with AWS and/or Azure cloud platforms is a plus

- Experience with automated unit testing and acceptance testing frameworks (Mocha, Selenium, Puppeteer) is a plus

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field of study, or the equivalent in documented work experience

- 8+ years of progressive work experience developing software products

- 3+ years of experience in technical leadership within an enterprise environment

- Experience working with Node.js and TypeScript

- Experience with Kotlin or other JVM-based languages (a plus)

- Experience with MongoDB or other NoSQL databases (a plus)

- Experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, or other messaging systems (a plus)

- Experience with Temporal.io or other workflow engines (a plus)

- Working experience with source code version control systems (Git and GitHub preferred)

- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process

- Proven commitment to working in a senior engineer role, including mentoring and design guidance

Bonus Points :

- Experience with AWS or other cloud platforms

- Knowledge and experience of the healthcare industry
