Position Overview

Mad Influence is looking for a creative and analytical Social Media Strategist to craft and execute innovative strategies that drive impactful results. This position requires someone who can combine insights with a flair for creativity to design comprehensive social media campaigns for clients, in-house brands and influencer-led initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of various platforms, emerging trends, and the ability to identify opportunities to scale engagement and brand presence.

Key Responsibilities

1. Social Media Strategy and Development

- Manage social media presence for in-house brands across multiple platforms, including Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, and others.

- Develop social media calendars for in-house brands, ensuring timely execution.

- Develop seasonal and high-impact campaigns for in-house brands to maximise reach, engagement, and community-driven initiatives.

- Ideate, plan, and execute creator IPs to expand and strengthen the creator network and drive engagement with a wider audience.

- Write and ideate emailers, utilizing email marketing tools to shoot targeted emails to relevant stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and engagement.

2. Client Account Management

- Manage social media accounts for onboarded client brands, aligning social strategies with their specific objectives and business goals.

- Continuously come up with new strategies, campaigns, and initiatives to improve performance across social platforms for client accounts.

3. Insights and Analytics

- Stay up-to-date on platform algorithm changes, best practices, and emerging trends to ensure social media strategies remain innovative and relevant.

- Track, analyze, and report social media metrics, providing actionable insights to refine strategies and optimize campaign performance.

4. Client and Team Collaboration

- Work closely with clients to understand their brand objectives, translate them into actionable social media strategies, and develop campaigns that meet their needs.

- Present campaign concepts, performance data, and strategic recommendations to clients with confidence and clarity.

- Collaborate with internal teams, including graphic designers, video editors, brand managers, and operations teams, to ensure seamless execution of campaigns and strategies.

Qualifications:

- Experience: 2-3 years in social media strategy or a similar role, with proven experience in managing social media for brands and clients across multiple platforms.

- Skills:

- Expertise in Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, and other social media platforms.

- Strong understanding of social media algorithms, audience behavior, and content optimization.

- Ability to create compelling social media calendars, seasonal campaigns, and community-driven initiatives.

- Experience in managing creator IPs and expanding creator networks.

- Proficiency in analytics tools like Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, and third-party social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprout Social).

- Exceptional creative, strategic, and analytical skills.

- Collaboration: Proven ability to work cross-functionally with clients, internal teams, and external collaborators, ensuring alignment and smooth execution of social media campaigns.

- Tools: Familiarity with design tools (e.g., Canva) and basic video editing skills are a plus.
