CNC Programmer For Delcam software

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced CNC Programmer specializing in Tool and Die for CNC Milling Machines. The candidate will be responsible for programming, setting up, and machining high-precision components and dies. A deep understanding of tool design, die making, and machining techniques is essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Program CNC milling machines to manufacture tools and dies.
• Interpret and analyze complex engineering drawings, including GD&T, for die and mold manufacturing.
• Select appropriate materials, tools, and cutting parameters to achieve precise dimensions and surface finishes.
• Set up CNC machines, install tools, fixtures, and workpieces, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Perform quality inspections of machined parts using precision measuring instruments, such as Vernier calipers, micrometers etc..
• Maintain and troubleshoot CNC machines to ensure peak operational performance
• Collaborate with design and production teams to address manufacturability challenges and ensure product quality.
• Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Preferred Skills

• Diploma or BE in Tool & Die Making, Mechanical or related field.
• Experience: 4-5 years of hands-on experience in CNC programming, specifically for Tool and Die applications.
• Familiarity with precision machining, surface finishing, and assembly of tools and dies.
• Ability to read and interpret detailed engineering drawings, blueprints, and GD&T specifications.
• Expertise in quality control and inspection techniques for tool and die components.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills related to tool and die manufacturing.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality results.
