Project Manager - Education Project (Contractual)

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Project Manager to lead our training initiative. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and successful delivery of teacher training programs. This role requires strong organizational skills, effective communication, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the project's success.

Responsibilities:

1. Project Planning:
• Develop comprehensive project plans outlining scope, timelines, and resource requirements for teacher training programs.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define project objectives, deliverables, and success criteria.
2. Team Leadership:
• Lead and motivate teams, including curriculum developers, trainers, and data analyst.
• Foster a collaborative and positive working environment to ensure team cohesion and productivity.
3. Stakeholder Engagement:
• Establish and maintain effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.
• Provide regular project updates, address concerns, and ensure alignment with project goals.
4. Risk Management:
• Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure the project stays on track.
• Proactively address challenges and make necessary adjustments to keep the project on schedule and within scope.
5. Quality Assurance:
• Establish and enforce quality standards for teacher training materials, sessions, and assessments.
• Work closely with the curriculum development team to ensure alignment with educational objectives.
6. Timeline Adherence:
• Monitor project timelines and milestones, taking corrective actions as needed to meet deadlines.
• Implement project management best practices to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.
7. Evaluation and Reporting:
• Collaborate with data analysts to assess the impact and effectiveness of teacher training programs.
• Generate regular progress reports for stakeholders, highlighting achievements and areas for improvement.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Project Management, Education, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Project Manager, preferably in education or teacher training projects.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
• Effective communication skills to convey project objectives and updates to diverse stakeholders.

Preferred Skills:

• Tamil and English proficiency.
• Familiarity with training methodologies.
• Experience with project management tools and software.
