Role Overview :

We are seeking an experienced GCP Cloud Engineer to join our dynamic team in either Bangalore or Gurgaon.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and cloud-native services, coupled with strong CI/CD pipeline expertise.

You will be responsible for designing and implementing robust data pipelines and ETL processes, ensuring scalability, security, and performance.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and Develop Data Pipelines : Architect and implement efficient, scalable data pipelines and ETL processes on GCP, handling large volumes of structured and unstructured data from diverse sources.

- GCP Cloud Services : Leverage GCP cloud-native services such as BigQuery, Cloud Spanner, Dataproc, Dataflow, and Functions to process and manage data efficiently.

- Infrastructure as Code (IaC) : Use Terraform to automate cloud infrastructure provisioning and management.

- CI/CD Pipeline Management : Develop and manage the CI/CD process using tools like Jenkins, GitLab, and orchestration tools to ensure smooth deployment.

- Cloud Security : Collaborate with the DevOps and security teams to implement best practices in cloud security, ensuring robust protection of data and infrastructure.

- Automation & Scripting : Utilize Python, Shell, and Go scripting to automate tasks and optimize workflows.

- Monitoring and Reliability : Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to maintain the reliability, performance, and availability of data pipelines and other GCP infrastructure components.

Mandatory Skills :

- GCP Cloud Experience : Extensive hands-on experience with GCP cloud services, including BigQuery, Cloud Spanner, Dataproc, Dataflow, and Functions.

- CI/CD Tools : Proficiency with Jenkins, GitLab, and Terraform for end-to-end deployment and orchestration.

- Scripting : Strong knowledge of Python, Shell, and Go for automation and process optimization.

- Cloud Security : Understanding of cloud security models and experience in implementing security best practices on GCP.

Required Skills :

- Public Cloud Expertise : 5+ years of experience in public cloud environments, with a preference for GCP.

- ETL Processes : Expertise in designing and implementing end-to-end ETL processes on GCP.

- Infrastructure Monitoring : Experience with monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions on GCP to ensure infrastructure reliability and performance.
