Job Summary

The role is responsible to architect industry benchmarked Production and Assembly line infrastructure, processes and procedures with strong Production & Planning control and monitoring system to produce the best quality products which should be competitive in market, match with global standards and customer expectation. Also able to build Quality based practices through regular awareness session, cross functional knowledge sharing and projects, strong audit system and Cost Control.

Description

Plant & Assembly Production Planning & Execution

• Define Production Planning and systems as per the standard benchmarks and customer requirements, smoothly production planning and ensure all employees are engage with their work and also work has to be completed by EOD.
• Work with different departments for smooth Daily Plant & Assy Production
• Provide inputs to enhance productivity & quality of products at different stages of production, design and documents processes and metrics
• Support processes and standards for suppliers raw material and manufacturing process to ensure to get quality raw material & BOP
• Establish in-process product standards by studying manufacturing methods; testing methods and procedures.
• Draw reworks standard guidelines by devising inspection and physical testing methods and procedures.

OTIF Billing & Systems Improvement

• Ensure daily Billing as per weekly Customer Planning and Ensure OTIF on weekly Basis.
• Coordinate with Customer Care Team for FG stocks (Min-Max) at Plant Level
• Inventory Management with ERP Knowledge
• Drive ISO and other quality standards to improve the quality of products and manufacturing system as per the global manufacturing standard
• Ensure regular audit of different manufacturing processes, identify areas of improvements with different stakeholders in their respective areas and ensure improvement plans ( Kaizens) are executed properly to achieve desired results in stipulated timeline
• Prepares product and process reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends through different statistical tools for Cost Savings

Customer Relation Management

• Understand customer quality issues and resolve in amicable manner within defined SLAs (Service Level Agreement)
• Visit customer manufacturing units to understand customer quality requirement and challenges
• Ensure manufacturing team have taken action promptly on customer complain and implemented corrective action to avoid further issues
• Build customer relation in such manner that there is less escalation of quality issues and give better rating on Customer satisfaction index

People Management

• Define performance targets for the team members, providing them time bound feedback and suggesting improvement insights and support
• Provide functional and managerial leadership to the team and be instrumental in developing their capabilities and groom employees for higher and additional responsibilities
• Responsible to building and sustaining an engaged and motivated workforce
• Partner with Human Resources for compliance to organizational policies and procedures and implementation of initiatives in the concerned departmentRole & responsibilities
