Sales Officer

Job Summary:

MK Agrotech Private Limited is looking for a motivated and target-driven Sales Officer to join our team in the Food Sector. The role involves driving sales growth, managing distributor relationships, and ensuring market penetration in the General Trade, Modern Trade and Horeca channel. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of the FMCG/edible oil industry, excellent communication skills, and the ability to execute sales strategies effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Sales & Distribution:

• Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for the assigned territory.
• Manage and expand the distribution network in the General Trade channel.
• Ensure product availability and visibility in retail outlets, kirana stores, and other points of sale.

2. Distributor Management:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors and retailers.
• Monitor distributor performance and ensure timely order fulfillment.
• Train and motivate distributors and their sales teams to achieve targets.

3. Market Intelligence:

• Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and trends in the edible sector.
• Monitor competitor activities and provide feedback to the management team.
• Gather insights on customer preferences and market demands.

4. Promotions & Branding:

• Plan and execute promotional activities to drive brand awareness and sales.
• Ensure proper merchandising and branding at retail outlets.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to implement campaigns effectively.

5. Reporting & Analysis:

• Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports.
• Analyze sales data to identify gaps and opportunities for improvement.
• Provide feedback on market conditions and customer needs.

6. Compliance & Documentation:

• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of sales, expenses, and distributor transactions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
• 4-8 years of experience in FMCG sales, preferably in the edible oil or food sector.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets in the General Trade channel.
• Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and sales management tools.
