Leading a team for expense accruals and reporting, financial accounting, month end closure, MIS reporting of the India entity
Review of vendor payments, employee reimbursements and accounting
Preparation of Financial Statement, finalisation of books
Monthly expense reporting, cost accruals and variance analysis
Well verse with overall GST compliance
Periodic STPI and Customs reporting
Coordination with Customs for shipment clearing requirements with respect to imports and STPI compliance
Coordination with Insurance broker and data submission for renewal of property insurance policies on time
Liaising with internal business areas for expense accruals and monthly expense closure
Ensure complete and accurate accounting of costs per function
Liaising with the auditors for respective areas of responsibility
Provide clarifications / information to the management on the Financial Information
Ensure operations of agreed financial controls including all relevant reconciliations
Ensuring payments of statutory dues within the set timelines
Plan and schedule work to meet deliverable time lines
Co-ordinate and monitor process improvement initiatives for newly implemented Oracle Fusion ERP
To demonstrate a positive risk, compliance and control culture through the identification, assessment, monitoring and management of risks and issues within the business area, alongside ensuring timely and appropriate resolution of control weaknesses, actions and failures that arise
