LJ11029 - Technical Delivery Manager

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Delivery Manager to lead and coordinate cross-functional teams, ensuring the seamless delivery of high-quality software solutions. The ideal candidate will work closely with Data Engineers, Mobile App Developers (Android/iOS), Web Developers, and Backend Developers, and act as the liaison between Directors of Software Engineering, Product, and Marketing to ensure alignment on project goals and timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Coordination:
  • Oversee the delivery lifecycle for software development projects across mobile (Android/iOS), web, and backend systems.
  • Collaborate with Data Engineers to integrate and manage data pipelines effectively.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, timelines, and deliverables.
• Stakeholder Management:
  • Act as the primary communication link between the Director of Software Engineering, Director of Product, and Marketing teams.
  • Translate business requirements from Product and Marketing teams into actionable tasks for engineering teams.
  • Regularly update stakeholders on project progress, challenges, and risks, proposing solutions to ensure on-time delivery.
• Team Collaboration:
  • Facilitate daily standups, sprint planning, and retrospectives to ensure smooth team operations.
  • Support team members in identifying roadblocks and finding solutions collaboratively.
  • Encourage a culture of accountability, quality, and continuous improvement across all teams.
• Resource Planning:
  • Manage both full-time and contract resources effectively, ensuring optimal utilization of skills and time.
  • Identify resource gaps and propose solutions, including hiring or contractor engagement.
• Risk & Issue Management:
  • Identify potential project risks and create mitigation plans.
  • Resolve conflicts and escalations swiftly to maintain project momentum.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience:
  • 7+ years of experience in technical project management or delivery management roles.
  • Proven experience managing cross-functional teams, including mobile, web, backend, and data engineering professionals.
  • Experience working closely with senior stakeholders across Engineering, Product, and Marketing.
• Skills:
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, Asana).
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • Technical understanding of mobile app development (Android/iOS), web development, backend systems, and data engineering processes.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.
• Preferred:
  • Experience in a SaaS or product-driven organization.
  • Certifications such as PMP, Scrum Master, or Agile Coach.
