SAP Security Consultant

The SAP Security consultant will work as a regional SME together with the partner ecosystem team to analyze, design, develop and support solutions to protect the SAP applications through establishing policies and security models to prevent unauthorized access, use, disclosure or modification of data.

The SAP Security consultant will develop and deliver solutions, including the design and implementation of Segregation of Duties Analysis Rules, Security Role Provisioning solutions, audit reviews, Security Workflow, Business Process Controls, Security Analytics and GRC Solutions.

The SAP Security consultant will assist in driving efficiencies within the team through process optimization, and automation.

Collaboration across the function/business including the Cyber Security team is critical to gain an understanding of business objectives, facilitate solutions, develop approaches, and define deliverables required to implement complex business processes and solutions while ensuring SOX, SOD and audit compliance.

This person will be responsible for ensuring that security roles are developed and maintained for all of LYB s SAP applications (both on-prem and cloud) to meet the needs of the business in compliance with the corporate security strategy, and compliance requirements, and support model.

• Provides functional and configuration support in designing and build of SAP authorizations and roles.
• Develops SAP roles and profiles to minimize business risk and ensure clear Segregation of Duties.
• Understands dependencies and interrelationships between separate functional modules and SAP systems.
• Participates in user access requirements gathering, blueprinting and documentation.
• Proposes alternatives based on best practices across the technologies.
• Assists in initial testing of problem fixes, change request, enhancements, and new functionality.
• Works with the COE team and other support teams to facilitate incident and problem resolution.
• Participates in release upgrade or new functionality / enhancement assessments and makes recommendations on improvements.
• Takes responsibility for the quality of work performed / Understands and applies LYB methodologies and procedures.

• 5-7 Years of hands-on SAP Security support and configuration experience with implementation experience. Candidate should be bachelors degree from reputed college.
• Understands the business processes and applies that knowledge to develop SAP access controls and solve user access problems.
• An understanding of SAP Authorizations concepts in an Enterprise environment (Single/Composite roles and role derivation)
• Consultant must be an SAP Security well versed with direct experience of GRC, IDM, S4 HANA, C4HANA, Fiori, SOX or JSOX, MDG,
• Solid experienced in design and deployment of SAP SA solutions
• Knowledge of SAP GRC Business Role Manage (BRM) and how it relates to the profile generator (PFCG).
• Working knowledge of authorisation reporting and troubleshooting transaction codes / tools including SE16, SU22, SU24, S25, SU53, SU56, ST01, SUIM, PFCG and reporting.
• Experience of supporting user access and configurations across multiple SAP modules and SAP systems (ECC, BW, GRC , Success Factors) S/4 Fiori experience is a plus.
• Operate in close coordination with the IT and business communities, subject matter experts, external consultants, cross-functional teams, Technical teams etc.

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related field preferred
