Job Description
You will be responsible for providing optimum service levels for day-to-day production support for the Murex/MLC/Risk users (Front office, back office, Finance, etc.)
You will collaborate with third-party vendors/other support teams to provide a seamless support model for the business
You should be able to take ownership of high-severity issues and follow through to closure
You are answerable to business users and provide strategic long-term solutions participate in RCA and provide pre-emptive solutions for production stability
You will assist in rolling out of new version of the application adhering to the best practices of the release management procedures
You should be able to drive himself/herself to learn new things while dealing with daily production support
You should be able to communicate effectively and work efficiently across different Business and support units
Must have
3-9 years of Murex Support experience.
Knowledge of Murex application, Murex infrastructure, architecture, Cloud, SQL, Unix Shell scripting, Linux.
Supporting Murex / Murex infrastructure.
Able to understand Murex architecture. App and DB.
Troubleshooting/debugging for all types of murex infra-related issue.
Strong Knowledge of Murex services.
Murex environment UAT setup.
Able to understand cloud setup for Murex.
Good knowledge of Unic/Linux OS.
Able to write complex shell scripting.
Able to read and debug shell scripts.
Good understanding of SQL queries.
Nice to have
Demonstrate ownership and responsibility in all assignments.
Bachelors degree in Computer Engineering/ School of Computing/ Finance IT/ other related IT degrees would be preferred.
