Job Description
As a Team Lead of AOSP team, you will be able to extend your expertise in Android ecosystem, manage and communicate with people around the program.
You will support research and development of robust and reusable solutions for Android Services.
Participate in development of B2B product for Automotive market from scratch.
Implement Android native apps, modify AOSP, its components, define APIs.
Work inside an intercultural team of many layers and competencies around software engineering, architecture and development. The team is extended by Quality Engineering, Functional Testing, Security engineering and others
Must have
Experience with IVI (In-Vehicle Infotainment) systems.
Strong understanding of the Android Open Source Project (AOSP) structure and build system.
Experience with System Server, Android Framework, Native services, and HAL layers.
Proficiency in customizing and building Android images for specific hardware platforms.
Experience with Android Automotive OS (AAOS) customizations.
Knowledge of Vehicle HAL, Car API, and the Automotive HAL architecture.
Strong skills in debugging using tools like adb, gdb, logcat, and systrace.
Expertise in performance optimization of Android systems.
Proven experience leading cross-functional teams in Android or embedded systems development.
Ability to mentor junior developers and conduct technical reviews.
Strong stakeholder communication skills, especially with product managers and OEM partners.
Nice to have
Understanding of the Linux Kernel and integration with Android.
Experience working with kernel-level drivers, particularly for automotive hardware.
Familiarity with CAN, LIN, and Ethernet protocols used in vehicles.
