Location: Remote

Notice Period- Priority for people with less than 45 days of NP.

Project Description:
The project is a well-known publicly available web application used by enterprise customers to estimate the power consumption of datacenter configurations. It includes a visual designer to create complex datacenter configurations using a vast array of available equipment and compatibility rules.

The team is involved in 2 main areas:
1. Incremental modernization of the existing legacy monolithic web application to a modern backend written in ASP.NET Core (C#) and modern UI written in React and TypeScript.
2. Regular maintenance releases of the legacy web application with the introduction of new equipment.

There are also lots of new features that need to be added to the tool, in an expanding engagement that is envisioned for several years.

Responsibilities:
• You will be working in an Agile team, using the Microsoft Visual Studio ecosystem, GitHub and Atlassian stack (Jira & Confluence), to test both legacy and modernized applications.
• Migration efforts:
o Elaborate test plans and test cases with well-documented scenarios for the new frontend web application and REST APIs. You will test the application from an end-to-end perspective, emulating the needs of the end-user, ensuring the functionality meets business requirements.
o Perform manual testing as needed and document results according to industry standards.
o Develop automated scripts with TypeScript and Playwright and ensure a high test coverage according to industry best practices.
o Participate in requirement gathering with the development team to identify optimal solutions for the new application and its services.
o Elaborate technical documentation on performed work according to industry standards and best practices.
o Opportunity to participate in release processes and DevOps activities (CI/CD).
• Legacy efforts:
o Elaborate test plans and test cases with well-documented scenarios for the legacy frontend web application. You will test the application from an end-to-end perspective, emulating the needs of the end-user, ensuring the functionality meets business requirements.
o Perform manual testing as needed and document results according to industry standards.
o Develop automated scripts with TypeScript and Playwright and ensure a high-test coverage according to industry best practices.
o Participate in maintenance releases on a regular basis.
