Regular Systems Engineer with DevOps, BigData and automation

Develop changes to both internal and 3rd party system components to meet a delivery need. Follow established practices and guidance using the latest tools and techniques.

Operate existing area and resolve issues with the help of engineers using existing procedures, knowledge and the knowledge of those around.

Will have a range of technical understanding of the skills (for each area) including: Compute Platforms

Windows, Linux, Virtualisation, Public & Private cloud

Database

Oracle, SQL administration, No SQL databases

General skill

DevOps tools, Scripting, Version control, Monitoring Skilled in monitoring application usage & configurations

Understanding of agile ways of working

Collaborate with end users and other engineering team and create templates for onboarding.

Keep technical knowledge up to date and keep track of new technologies
