Job Description
- C/C++, Python Developer responsibilities include writing and testing code, writing unit and integration tests, debugging code, API development, and integrating applications with third-party web services
- The developers that we work with should have experience using server-side logic and work well in a team
- There will be a lot of API work
- We will be working to improve security and keep our API versions upgraded for our payment gateway integrations
- We will be adding new payment gateway integrations and improving the integrations that currently exist
- We will work to ensure seamless transactions that are consistent across the platform and follow PCI compliance guidelines
Skills
Must have
5+ years of work experience as a backend C/C++, Python Developer
-Build systems: Makefile, Nix
-Operating System: Linux
-Platform: Azure VMs and Containers
-Database: PostgreSQL
-Networking: UDP, TCP, HTTP, SOAP, MQ, RPC
-Dev techniques: Multi-threading, Parallel Processing, Transaction Processing
-Dev processes Tools: Git, Jira
Nice to have
Understanding of testing and monitoring tools
Ability to debug applications
Ability to test, debug, fix issues within established SLAs
