Job Description
- Interact with product management, project management and development teams to develop a strong understanding of the project and testing objectives
- Should co-ordinate between onshore & offshore teams
- Participate in troubleshooting and triaging of issues with different teams to drive towards root cause identification and resolution
- Design and create test conditions, test data and test scripts to address business and technical use cases
- Use existing tools and techniques to execute test cases and build/script new tools for performing testing/validation function
- Develop and lead the automation strategy/effort and generate scripts to perform automated testing cycles using Selenium & Cucumber
- Skills
Must have
- 6+ years of experience in software test design and testing methodologies
- Must have experience of working in Capital/Financial Market/Investment Banking Projects
- Java programming language
- Strong experience on working with API testing
- Proven track record of testing large scale flexible systems, with deep expertise in industry-standard automation testing tools and testing frameworks such as Selenium, Cucumber or similar
- Execute functional testing, regression testing, and automated testing for the current systems as well as the new suite of systems in development
- Understand the end-to-end configuration, technical dependencies, code paths, and overall behavioural characteristics of the services you test
- Design, execute and analyze automation test scripts & test results
- Design and create test conditions, test data and test scripts to address business and technical use cases
