Job Description

Project Description:You'll be working as part of the Solutions Trading development team.
The team is part of a broader global team delivering multiple award-winning technology solutions for the Dynamic Strategies and Actively Managed Certificates business areas.
Dynamic Strategies are algorithmic products that observe market movements and drive performance according to prescribed criteria.
Actively Managed Certificates are a convenient wrapper that allows a third-party investment manager to package a strategy in a bank issued note that can easily be distributed to multiple investors.
Responsibilities:• Maintain and develop microservices that can be deployed into the cloud
• Understand our core applications, actively maintain and develop them, while partnering with solution architects to enable and drive deployment of strategic solutions
• Utilizing your expertise in event streaming and messaging systems, particularly Kafka, to design, implement, and optimize data pipelines and communication channels within our technology solutions
• guide implementation teams to successful delivery
• make sure technical solutions are integrated into our heterogeneous and highly automated infrastructure
• Contribute to the Architecture/Design Roadmap
• Focusing on increasing the productivity of the team in terms of frequency of releases
Mandatory Skills Description:• 7+ years of java experience with minimum 3 years of experience with Kafka
• Solid Core Java knowledge, largely backend, knows how to (auto) test
• Proficiency in event streaming and messaging systems, with a strong emphasis on Kafka
• Proven commercial experience as an Java Developer, ideally within the finance sector
• Proven delivery of high performing IT solutions
• Experience of building cloud native applications/services
• Ability to produce secure, stable and good performing code
Nice-to-Have Skills Description:Working experience in finance/banking area
