Overview Of Profile:

responsible for the overall Logistics Management at Plant including organizing and monitoring Logistics and transportation of Domestic Waste Material.

The goal is to manage the entire Logistics cycle so as to enhance business development and ensure sustainability and customer satisfaction.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Inward & Dispatch Planning and managing Logistics and Transportation services.

(Effective utilization of Dedicated vehicles to avoid shortfall in daily plan allocation Ensure trips of vehicles attained by each dedicated vehicles as assure in contract

• Directing, Optimizing and coordinating for smooth operation of inward & dispatch order cycle. (To Co-ordinate with Marketing Back office on daily basis Allocation of dedicated & No dedicated vehicles accordingly to plan)
• Liaising and negotiating with Transporter and other stake holders.
• Implementing system improvements and development of system to measure & monitor different aspects of Logistics efficiency.
• Ability to analyze existing and pending regulations, make recommendations, then develop, document, implement, and monitor compliance procedures.

(Ensuring compliance of each dedicated vehicles are as per Central/State PCB norms. sure, all vehicle safety equipments available in each vehicle and Their vehicle & drivers Insurance)

• Involving cost estimation, contract negotiation & finalization for Logistics and Transportation.
• Evaluating vendor performance, scrutinizing Logistics performance and accuracy metrics.
• Monitoring turnaround time and holding vehicle cost and suggesting ways of reducing the cast.
• Forecasting vehicle requirements using marketing planning, constant and trend models with special consideration of future requirements.
• Prepare and finalize yearly & quarterly budget with approval top management and ensure for complete logistics services cost not excess against budget planning.
• Meet cost, productivity, accuracy and timeliness targets.
• Comply with laws, regulations and ISO requirements.
• Proven working experience of successful distribution and Logistics Management as a Logistics Manager.
• Demonstrable ability to lead and manage staff.
• Proficient in standard Logistics software and different types of MIS reports.
• Excellent analytical, problem solving & organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple sites from corporate office.
• Ensure and support team to safe, timely and cost effective transportation of Domestic Waste Material.
• Arrange for periodic compliance audits of Logistics policies and procedures.
• Capable of multi-tasking to meet multiple requirements at a fast pace with tight timelines.
• Strong interpersonal skills are required including the ability to proactively engage and communicate, in writing and orally, in a fact based, clear and direct manner
• Ensure Shift Wise Proper Planning for Material Vehicle Loading & unloading and shifting to dedicated locations as per Space
• Ensure proper Shift Wise Material issuance as per requirements & batches
• Coordination with Logistics for Inward Material Planning and for unloading space.
• Coordination with Lab for QC Check for unloading vehicles and further with operation department for in process material as per SOP.
• Ensure Proper Utilization of Vehicle Parking & Control Unauthorized Parking & Driver Issues
• Ensure and Share MIS report of Physical stock on Daily/weekly & Monthly basis. Timely Processing of Transport invoices and ensure timely payment (Timely Checking of transport bills received & cross verifying with either side i.e at Loading /Unloading point for detention charges if claimed by transporter and proceed to alc department)
• Ensure Proper training of Teams & drivers of adhering to Functional SOPs & safety norms
• Develop Harmonious professional relations with stakeholders at all levels within the company.
