Assistant Manager

• Arranging requirement from Store.
• Sharing indent with vendors.
• PO monitoring & preparation.
• Ensuring timely processing of PO as per SOP.
• Import buying coordination - ordering, scheduling, payment and shipment.
• Finalizing Scheduling with vendors.
• Supplier schedule mapping in SAP.
• Follow-up with vendors for material dispatch as per schedule.
• Feedback to plant team on material availability.
• Sharing long term forecast to suppliers.
• Review with PPC w.r.t production plan/forecast to access the gap in material availability.
• Mapping material/vendor capacities w.r.t machine and mould.
• Ensuring month end inventory to be within defined target limit.
• Ensuring stock to be available within safety stock limit.
• SAM audit of suppliers
• Coordination with purchase team to ensure all prices are put in PPA for order processing.
• Coordination with development team for new part development.
• Educating & helping vendors in accessing Vendor Portal.
• Coordination with R&D for new development, design & BOM change.
• Arranging samples of new components to R&D as per requirement.
• Arranging trail lot for 200 series pilot run.
• Coordination with Store for material unloading.
• Coordination with Store for consumption plan.
• Coordination with accounts for payments.
• Coordination with accounts for GST reconciliation.
• Coordination with accounts & vendor for accounts reconciliation closure with defined timeline.
• Handling queries of vendors.
• Ensuring the rejection material is returned back to vendors within same month.
