Job Purpose
This role requires a dynamic and talented person to implement quality checks throughout the entire software development cycle as well as the planning and execution of quality standards. This role is required to encourage a continuous improvement environment with regular reviews and process improvements for Automation and Current Products.
Job Context
Reporting to the Assistant Quality Manager and working closely with the Automation & Production team.
Job Responsibilities:
Be focused for all Automation product quality concerns and provide support to the entire automation & manufacturing team.
Lead process improvement activities and help identify and implement new ways of working including ESD controls.
Maintain quality documentation related to QA function.
Liaise with internal teams (e.g., developers and product design managers) to identify system requirements.
Prioritize and co-ordinate testing activities. Maintain and report test results.
Identify trends in test failures and assist with root cause analysis and Execute of Corrective and Preventive actions of customer complaints, finished goods and in-process assemblies / parts
Tracks quality assurance metrics (defect densities and open defect counts).
Develop and implement systems that comply with Lucy Electric and industry regulatory requirements for quality, cyber, safety, and the environment.
Foster an environment that supports learning, individual development, and openness to change
Control of non-conformance by raising NCRs and reduce non-conformance by providing appropriate training, awareness to concern technicians. Conduct Forthrightly NCR review meeting.
Manage and Execute Product & Process Audits, Logistics, Internal Audits of ISO standards
Help on calibration plan and ensure all instruments are getting calibrated as per schedule.
Participate in daily production meeting, various CFT meetings to understand priorities of business and accordingly delegate tasks to team members.
Establish, Improve and Retain control plans, procedures, work instructions, birth certificates and checklists for process controls
Active participation for controlling and reducing Cost of poor quality by identifying and monitoring the actions
Propose for assembly fixtures, jigs and machineries for error proofing and qualitative production output
Recommend and review the Appraisals of sub-ordinates, Providing motivation to sub-ordinates to pull the maximized their efficiencies and importance in functional level, inspection, testing and assembly technique
Training needs assessment, recording of trainings imparted & its effectiveness review
Raise engineering change request as and when required for continuous improvement.
Qualifications, Experience & Skills
Degree level education or equivalent certified
Min 5 years of proven relevant experience
Knowledge of C++ desirable
Hands-on experience in ISO Standards
Familiar with Automation industry practices and professional standards
Experience in Risk Management
