Senior Backend Software Engineer - Golang (5-10 yrs)

Job Description :

- Minimum 5+ years of experience working as a software engineer

- Proven experience as a Server Engineer or equivalent role.

- Previous experience building scalable microservice architecture for an application with a large number of concurrent users.

- Strong understanding of server-side languages such as Go, Java, Node.js.

- Deep familiarity with the HTTP protocol and API technologies such as gRPC, REST and OpenAPI.

- Experience with database and caching technologies (i.e. Mongo, Firestore, MySQL, Redis)

- Experience with cloud services such as GCP, AWS or Azure

- Familiar with containerization and deployment technologies such as kubernetes

- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.

Additional Skills :

- Comfort working in a fast-pace, non-hierarchical, startup like environment

- Comfort wearing a number of "hats" and willingness to dive into new technologies.

- Familiarity with continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.

- Experience with security compliance standards relevant to the social media industry.
