01.Keep the management informed at all times on matter pertaining to Aviation Safety.

02.Coordinate with all concerned Airport Communities in case of Emergencies /Incidents, Response for Crisis Management.

03.Establish an ongoing process for Fire Prevention and Fire Safety Training, Conduct Safety Risk assessments, Safety Management and First Aid at the unit.

04.Attending all the safety meetings, Participating & Conducting Safety drills planned by DGCA, ARFF & Safety - BIAL.

05.Conducting / Co-ordinating Breath Analyser Examination of personnel engaged in Aerodrome Operations as per CAR Section 5 Air Safety Series F Part IV Issue I.

06.Maintenance of Fire extinguishers, Fire hydrant, FAS, MCP, CAS, Safety signage, Emergency exit doors.

07.Controlling and Approvals of ADP, AVP and Tools as per DGCA Regulations, Violation Reports / ATR for Ramp Safety.

08.Hazard Management (Life, Occupational, Health & Safety), Incident and Crisis Management, Response & Action Plan for all Safety Audits (Internal, External and Global).

09.GSA / GHA – Ground Support Agency Safety Regulations & Audit Preparedness & Closures, Attending safety review meetings regularly.

10.Review and Update of KPIs, MDIs, ERAP, Safety Management Manual & Safety Policy.Role & responsibilities
