Job Description-
✔ Configuring and troubleshooting issues in printers and scanners: This includes setting up and resolving problems with printers and scanners, such as connectivity issues or paper jams.
✔ Worked on profile creation in Active Directory: This means creating user profiles in Active Directory, a directory service developed by Microsoft for Windows domain networks.
✔ Hardware troubleshooting: Identifying and resolving hardware-related problems in computers and peripherals.
✔ Monitoring Ticketing Tool in BMC Remedy: Managing and responding to support tickets using the BMC Remedy ticketing tool.
✔ Configuration of Manual IP Address: Manually setting IP addresses on devices when necessary.
✔ Troubleshooting of laptops and desktop related issues: Identifying and resolving problems specific to laptops and desktop computers.
✔ Communicate with vendors for providing hardware support: Interacting with hardware vendors to obtain support for faulty equipment.
✔ DHCP: Configuring DHCP servers to reserve specific IP addresses for certain devices.
✔ Knowledge IP Address: Understanding the different classes of IP addresses (e.g., Class A, B, C) and their uses.
✔ Having knowledge on Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) issue: Understanding and addressing the causes of BSOD errors in Windows operating systems.
✔ Knowledge on DHCP and DNS: Understanding how DHCP (Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol) and DNS (Domain Name System) work in networking.
✔ Disk Partition: Dividing a hard drive into separate storage areas, each with its file system.
✔ LAN and WIFI Troubleshooting: Identifying and resolving issues with local area networks (LANs) and wireless networks (Wi-Fi).
✔ Troubleshooting issues like system slowness, software not responding: Addressing common problems that affect system performance and software responsiveness.
✔ Follow up with users to ensure that their issues have been resolved to their satisfaction: Checking back with users after resolving their issues to ensure they are satisfied with the outcome.
